Accidents at work are probably the second most common form of accident claim after road accidents. And the Law about workplace safety and accidents arising from workplace activities is hugely complicated!
There are many ways in which an accident at work can happen. Injuries by lifting heavy weights, by faulty machinery, by some other employee's fault, by poor working practices or by a failure to adopt the legal requirements for a proper Health and Safety policy are just some examples of how an employer can be responsible for an accident.
